I put some cheese back at the store the other day because I noticed it said non-GMO; went back to find one with some extra GMO.

  1. This is sarcasm, people!
  2. ALDI store items are GMO-free, or close, as they are a German Corporation and Germany has banned GMOs

Is that mature?

GMO's have gotten a bad stigma from many groups.
The truth is that ever since man has learned to cultivate, there have been genetic manipulations of any agriculture. Look into what the common banana is and where it came from, and that is just one on myriad others.

for an addendum, I'd also like to forward the fact that over the last few decades, the educational system here in the USA, has gone to deplorable, or worse.
It is no wonder to me that there are so many uneducated in the fields of Science, and view the world through some vid that has no idea what they are talking about.

In fact, the worst of it is that many will weigh in the same on a vid from some conspiracy nut, as with a paper from a Nobel laureate . . things need to change. Critical thinking, and empirical evidence seems lost on many.
Hence we have "flat Earthers", and such.

True but there is a difference between something has been altered in the lab and something that has been altered by trying to breed better corps by the farmer. The fruit and vegetables that the farmer has grow for years we know about if it is ok for us to eat but the lab ones haven't had the time for us to know. I am not saying that it may be bad for us but why would companies not put on the label what it contains if they have nothing to hide.

I feel that. The GMO panic is ridiculous.

At restaurants and banquets, I always ask for gluten-enhanced meals.

Trade in for some Processed Cheezfood, 3 times more product and none of that real cheese stuff. I think they call it American Cheez and you can get it out of an aerosol can, Delicious. 🙂

That never made any sense to me. Processed cheese food should be what you feed to processed cheese to fatten it up before the slicing.

No taste

@273kelvin but all the empty calories. 😉

@Surfpirate Of all the different cheeses in the world. With all the variants of taste and texture. You go for something that is just chemical additives?

@273kelvin Oh I wasn't suggesting it for my own consumption, that shit is vile, toxic, orange goo but lots of other people seem to like it so who am I to judge them on their cheese choices? 😉

I am getting an online crush on you with your posts -lol

I'll blow you away - because I'm horribly lactose intolerant and I still got the GMO cheese.

isn't that like asking for milk from brown cows in the expectation of getting chocolate milk?
