@LenHazell53 It is unethical and illegal for a hospital doctor to refuse treatment in this country. There are food banks in every city if the food bank can not provide there are charities that do. If someone is starving in our country they have not worked to remedy the problem.

So what you have encountered is mostly people that do not truly appropriate a nice gesture? There is an adage that fits here "try and try again" Einstein definition of insanity is. @bingst The major problem would be similar to what is happening in California with it minimum wage dollar amount being raised. The remaining workers are under more stress to do extend work or a much heavier work load. If they can't handle it they are just not asked back to the job. The temp agency just finds some inane reason to not use that employee again.

@bleurowz Habits are very serious Quitting smoking is equivalent to getting off heroin. Quitting drinking for most recovering alcoholic is a lifetime battle. Those are just a couple of habits. Shopping, sex, gambling etc. are a few more habits not so easily broken.
