And telling the truth isn’t a requirement for the presidency. When Eisenhower lied about Gary Powers overflying the USSR no one thought much about it. In fact, it would seem that lying is required to be an effective president. Trump’s lies tend to be about things like the details of his sexual life and how much he paid to try to cover that up. I frankly don’t agree with him about some of the things that he’s been honest about, but I can’t care less about his sexuality or what he says about it.
