Act completely normal or they will instantly pick up on it! If they are crate-trained, this is an excellent place to put them for the duration. Mine are well-accustomed to their crate in the car, they go everywhere with me, so i put them in in....they sit there all full of anticipation of another trip and notice nothing, although I live about a mile from the epicenter.

I have tattoos, they cover horrific surgical scars, mostly. A poster here is quite wrong, there is Hardly any pain (more like discomfort, and only because it continues) not very expensive, and hardly "permanent" with today's technology. My only comment: If this tattoo will be visible at most times, you may want to relocate it to an area easily covered, it is unusual & I promise you will get tired of complete strangers commenting on it while you are in checkout lines, sitting minding your business in restaurants, etc etc...one reason I have hummingbirds & flowers over my surgical scars.....sooo sick of, "where'd you get that ugly scar?" It is hard to fathom, until you experience it, how nosy, pushy and invasive strangers think they can be!
