A difficult day today, since we had friends to lunch. My daily target on eating days is 1000 and I know I have gone over that. Not by too much though. I was probably below 1500 and I won't have another occasion like that for a month probably so I don't mind. It is probably easier to keep[ my eating down when I am giving the lunch than when we go to our friends house - at least I am kept busy with the serving and organising at home! I am quite looking forward to tomorrow being a fast day!

The little rewards, like the occasional lunch with friends, helps us keep up the battle.
A fasting day will more than make up for the little over indulgence. You have motivated me. I think I will try a fruit/vegi fast/cleanse. It takes 3 days, that may be a challenge for me but it is peak produce season and l have watermelon, that will help. Have to start by tomorrow or wait for Thursday as I'll be doing lunch with the "old-timers" on Wednesday. Guess we'll see how it goes.

Sounds like a nice idea. When you are in the mood, a fruit and veg day is very pleasing. Three days might be a bit much for me though. Still, we each have to find the best way for ourselves to go forward.

I am determined to! Today has been quite an easy fast day - I have kept myself very busy. I shall be relying on you all when things get harder, though.
