Made a pot of GREAT soup today, cheesy broccoli with carrots, potatoes(sweet) and ham. It is almost like I'm on a soup diet, I'm already planning the next pot. Maybe a chili or taco soup, haven't done that lately. I do still have kale in the garden but will have to look for a new recipe. Maybe I'll just put some kale in my chili. 😉 Browned up the ground beef I bought this week and put in freezer for a quick start on chili/taco soup, so I'm ready.

My intake for today was right around 1500, my cut off point. The salt bounce actually went away, unusual for it to happen so quickly but that was fine by me. Then I had the kale chip remnants when I transfered them into a jar and that bit was SO salty I regretted having put it in my mouth. My technique on making kale chips needs some work. The first try they were pretty tasteless, this batch got rather over-spiced. Fortunately it wasn't all salt but being a "zesty" spice mix, the chips kind of bite back.

Posted by JurneeI have to say, as an overweight karate instructor, this is the one patch that I was ok with never getting.

Posted by DotLewis7 March 2020 - Diet Diary - Been quiet around here lately. I've not been on vacation, just keeping a low profile and trying to stay on top of things. Are those things incompatible?
