I weighed yesterday, and had lost 22 pounds in six months, about 3.5 lbs per month. I weighed 333, which is down 117 from my all time high of 450 lbs. I follow the guidelines of a plant-based whole food diet, which is well documented on the WWW. I'll post a pic soon.
Kudos! Good to hear the loss has continued. If you are like me, being busy has helped. Too much "free time" on my hands is asking for trouble. Hope the business venture is going well.
Wishing you great success in your pursuit of the under 300 mark. There are some "landmarks" in this process that just seem more monumental than others, I think the 99's is one of the biggies. Something about being able to say, "I'm under _00!" is special.
Keep it up!
Well done. It is always good to see progress.
Thank you. Yes, progress is encouraging. That losing weight is so easy now compared to before I changed to a plant-based whole-food diet. It amazes me. Basically I've cut out almost all sugar and fat from my diet that's added during cooking. Instead I've added fruits and vegetables. Otherwise, I eat as much as I want to lose a few pounds a month. If I want to lose faster, it's necessary to cut calories more, but that leaves me hungry and I cannot sustain it for long. I'm not counting closely, but think I'm eating about 1500 calories a day to avoid being hungry. I exercise a little, and will add more; though, I'm not consistent.
Good for you! Steady progress will se you through. Stay motivated ?
Thanks. I'm pumped, and eager to hit the 299 mark.
Posted by OldMetalHeadI hit a new weight milestone this week. Still trying for the six-pack.
Posted by OldMetalHeadThe hardest part for me is not falling back into old bad habits after meeting goals.

Posted by JonnaBononnaI had finally gotten back on track after gaining back most of the weight I lost a couple of years ago.
Posted by JurneeI have to say, as an overweight karate instructor, this is the one patch that I was ok with never getting.

Posted by DotLewis7 March 2020 - Diet Diary - Been quiet around here lately. I've not been on vacation, just keeping a low profile and trying to stay on top of things. Are those things incompatible?
