27 March 2019 - Diet Diary - Lovely day, got to the mid 70's here. Opened windows, which thrilled the cats and trimmed a bunch out of the chokecherry trees/hedge which is trying to take over the yard. Didn't do any significant inside work today, rain forecasts for next 3 days, will work on it then. The painting from yesterday looked pretty good in daylight, at least what daylight can reach that portion of the house.

Cutting back in pursuit of some downward movement. Today's intake was 960 calories. My minor obsession with salt intake has been squelched by a website problem with the tracker I use, for the past 4-5 days, making the nutrition report inaccessible. That's OK, other than soup I had for supper, not much of my intake contained a lot of salt. Will plan another under 1000 day tomorrow then Friday can go up to 1200. In my wiser (older) years, I try to avoid more than a couple very low days in a row as very low calorie intake over a period of time will cause metabolism to slow and I don't need mine to go any slower. I wonder if slow metabolism has anything to do with getting COLD very easily? Hmm! Research time.

It will be interesting to see if the calorie reduction makes a difference. Good idea to do some outside work for a change. We are desperate for rain here.

Posted by JurneeI have to say, as an overweight karate instructor, this is the one patch that I was ok with never getting.

Posted by DotLewis7 March 2020 - Diet Diary - Been quiet around here lately. I've not been on vacation, just keeping a low profile and trying to stay on top of things. Are those things incompatible?
