12 August 2019 - Diet Diary - Good reason to get up this morning, call from the plumber. Two hours later, I have a new tub faucet spout with NO RUST! Also a new handle (ball) on the repacked faucet so the water turns on easily and shuts off COMPLETLY! So cool! No dripping faucet and all the water diverts to the shower when I pull the lever. This cost me. Almost $300 for all but it was a good thing I didn't try harder to do it myself as the pipe into the spout broke off when they tried to unscrew it. They also had to cut the top of the faucet to get to the working parts. Had to replace the cut part. Now I have to get started on the vanity and sink replacement.

Day otherwise was normal, exercise class then took the neighbor shopping. Gathered some kale from the garden and a few more tomatoes. Yesterday, picked a lovely cantaloupe that grew on the volunteer vines in the garden. Haven't cut it yet but it looks and smells go. Kept calorie count at 1148 today although I did get a little carried away with peanuts while filling my storage jar. No rain tonight! 🙂

Posted by JurneeI have to say, as an overweight karate instructor, this is the one patch that I was ok with never getting.

Posted by DotLewis7 March 2020 - Diet Diary - Been quiet around here lately. I've not been on vacation, just keeping a low profile and trying to stay on top of things. Are those things incompatible?
