If you read the Snopes piece on this, you will find that Hillary filed a brief in which she quoted other people as saying the girl made up the story. From the point of view of the 12 year old, what is the difference between that and Hillary actually telling the judge the girl made up the story? Hillary did a classic defense of a rapist, which starts with blaming the victim, even the Snopes account verifies this. The quote on the bottom half of the meme is questionable, but that does not IMHO justify what Hillary did to the 12 year old.

As soon as someone starts to get demanding and tell what they will and will not tolerate I kind of head the other direction. I understand that people have their needs likes and dislikes I just don't like it expressed in an arrogant uncompromising Style

I won't tolerate smokers because I have a very negative reaction to smoke. If that makes someone head the other way, that's fine. We wouldn't work out anyway and we just saved each of us some time.

I wish they would get one thing right. The 25th Amendment has no provision for removing the President from office.
mcgeo52 replies on Sep 26, 2018:
@John-Paul, really. Forbes got it wrong, too. Read the Amendment. The VP only becomes Acting President if the 25th is invoked. The Amendment does not provide for the removal of the President. Section 1 covers regular succession. What VF and Forbes are blathering ignorantly about is Section 4. If you don't think I'm correct, please quote the actual part of the Amendment that proves your point.

@Closeted, if I had been in the white House and McConnell had pulled that stunt I would have called him into the Oval Office and explained that he had two choices: 1) Get Merrick Garland confirmed, or 2) Have me declare him an enemy combatant under the NDAA for attempting to subvert the Constitution. That would mean a one way all expenses paid ticket to Gitmo with free lifetime accommodations And then when he threatened to scream "Politics" if Obama made the information public about Russian interference in the election, that would have also been cause for a similar conversation.

@Freedompath, at this point there is absolutely no question that the recently released emails prove that Kavanaugh committed perjury in his confirmation hearing and in the current hearing. Perjury under oath to the Senate is a federal felony. Everybody on that committee who has not called him out on his perjury is aiding and abetting a felony.

In 1942, while G.H.W. ("Poppie") Bush was in boot camp getting ready to go fight in WWII, his father, Prescot Bush, and his maternal grandfather, George Herbert Walker, were financing and arming Hitler. That is an example of Republican family values at their finest.

@Freedompath, start with the fact that many conservatives are racists to begin with and you start to understand just how little moral compass they had to sacrifice. But I'm not all that thrilled by the Democrats on the committee. I'm wondering why Christine Blasey Ford even had to come forward to try to stop Kavanaugh's elevation to the Supreme Court. It is already a proven fact that Kavanaugh committed perjury in his original confirmation hearing, and also in the present hearing. Is there no one on that committee with the self respect to refuse to be lied to like that? Is there no one on that committee with the integrity and the spine to demand that Kavanaugh not only withdraw his nomination, but also step down from the bench. That is what every last member of that committee should be doing. I don't understand why we don't have even a single Democrat doing it and calling out the Republicans for being nothing but cowards being bullied by McConnell and Trump into doing what they know is wrong.
This sounds hopeful.
