Been battling weight all my life. now I'm older, which makes it a bit more challenging, and have back and hip issues due to an injury in my 20's. I hope to read your stories to encourage me to keep fighting

Good to hear from you. I am seriously struggling at the moment. Any tips you have will be welcome, or just share your stories. We all have ups and downs so don't feel you always have to be positive.

Good for you. I also had weight issues all my life. Changing to a vegan diet made a huge difference within a couple of months. I'd had a mild heart attack, and my BP was high.

Two months into the vegan diet, my BP declined to normal and my Dr. took me off BP meds. Still not taking them, and my BP is usually 110/70 or lower, and I'm a bit over 350 lbs.

I have room mates who won't eat what I cook if it's 'too healthy', then will turn around and make pasta with meat sauce with tons of cheese and garlic bread, with a cream pie for dessert...sigh

Posted by JurneeI have to say, as an overweight karate instructor, this is the one patch that I was ok with never getting.

Posted by DotLewis7 March 2020 - Diet Diary - Been quiet around here lately. I've not been on vacation, just keeping a low profile and trying to stay on top of things. Are those things incompatible?
