Why are people stuck in relationships that are basically roommate's you pay bills with?
sewchick57 comments on Jun 2, 2018:
I asked a guy I had a short relationship with, why if he was so unhappy at home doesn't he just get a divorce. His answer was "she's a perfectly nice woman, why ruin her life too?" He never had a stay at home job their entire marriage. He'll probably end up divorced after he retires.

Customer service point of view.
sewchick57 comments on Apr 17, 2018:
The people we interact with the most at work are never called "customers." One of the top best things about my job is not having to make "customers" happy. We're nice to people but we will not put up with nasty people on the phone. The other day somebody called all bent out of shape about something and one of the other ladies in the office said if we don't have at least one pissed off person call a day we're not doing our jobs! You really do have to wonder about the intelligence level of someone that will call and scream at ladies that can take their money. As a matter of fact, if you call and scream at us, we'll use every tool at our disposal to hunt you down and take your money! And happy dance through the office when we get it. LOL!!

Does someone have to be college educated to be intelligent?
sewchick57 comments on Apr 2, 2018:
Nope. I've met some really dumb people that have a college degree of some sort. I ended my formal education in 9th grade. 8 years later I took the ACT's and scored 2 points above the national average. I just took the test. I didn't study anything. When my oldest son was in 8th grade they gave him some kind of asssesment test and he scored higher than most graduating seniors.

Do you like country living? For those that do, did, ? Or want to
sewchick57 comments on Apr 1, 2018:
Yes and no. I like small towns the best. I lived out in the country with my first husband. It was 20 miles to the nearest town of any size and it was under 1000 people. The closest town of any size was 50 miles one way. Too far from town. Grocery shopping was an all day ordeal.
My downstairs neighbor is a rude ass.
sewchick57 comments on Apr 1, 2018:
A long time ago I lived in a basement apartment. The upstairs neighbor would come home drunk at 2 and turn the stereo on full blasllt and pass out. My kids had been out messing with the electric boxes and I figured out which one was his. Soooo, one night when he came home and turned the music on I just ran out and shut off his electricity. I waited about an hour and then turned it back on. He shut the music off right after I turned the electricity back on. LOL

Did you ever drive one of these?
sewchick57 comments on Apr 1, 2018:
I've had several stick shift cars. None of them were on the tree, they were all on the floor. I learned to drive stick in my mother's Volkswagon bug and then I had an Audi Fox, a Mercury Lynx, a Mercur, and a Saturn that were all stick. The Mercur was by far my favorite stick. It was 5 speed turbo charged. I scared the hell out of my ex in the Mercur one time. We were in Denver at a traffic light. I needed to be 2 lanes over to take a left turn in less than half a block. He said "you're going to have to be pretty aggressive" Big mistake on his part. I was across the intersection and in the far left lane before the other cars even left the light. I turned and said "like that." His eyes were huge and he just nodded. Loved that turbo charger!!

What has been your favorite car and why?
sewchick57 comments on Mar 30, 2018:
I had a 1972 Buick Skylark that I totally loved. I wore that car OUT!! By the time I sold it, it had no brakes, no transmission, no battery, no battery cable ends, the frame was cracked, it was hot wired and the trunk and ignition locks were drilled out, the inner door panel on the driver's side was gone so you could open the door from inside. But no matter how long that car sat, it always started. Every single time. When I sold it I asked $200 for it. The dude that came to buy it said he was only going to give me $100. I told him if it starts you'll give me $200. It started. I got my $200. The dude only really wanted the motor anyway.
Just googled something in relation to a post someone has made here.
