I watch youtube.nutritiondata.org videos produced by Dr. Greger. He cites research and explains it for us non-doctors. Some videos I've recently watched are about the effects of vinegar on diabetes and weight loss. In essence, vinegar reduces glucose levels an average of 16 points and helps people lose weight. As I understand drinking water with two teaspoons of balsamic vinegar with meals is enough. Search youtube for nutritiond data vinegar.

Hi Dot, and everyone. I've not forgotten you, but have been quite busy.

Good to see you, EE. Hope your project is working out well.
I've heard about vinegar, will have to look at it a little closer. The last bit seems resistant to loss.

I visit almost daily for a few minutes, clear my alerts, read a few, and respond to PMs. When I have something that may help people in this group, I'll contribute. Still keeping to my diet. This month I'll see my Dr. and weigh; the last time was six months ago for both weighing and Dr. Ed

@EdEarl Good to hear things are going well. Hope the outcome at the Dr is everything you hope for. See you around.

I've heard that vinegar is a more important food-item than most of us realize...it's been part of our past...many generations used it...and I've read that it helps with all sorts of ills. Keep tabs on it...and keep us posted. I'm clicking the gold star to follow your post...

Losing weight and lowering glucose have their own beneficial effects, so it makes sense that vinegar does other good things too. Both nutritiondata.org and Dr. Fuhrman on youtube have very good dietary information.

Posted by JurneeI have to say, as an overweight karate instructor, this is the one patch that I was ok with never getting.

Posted by DotLewis7 March 2020 - Diet Diary - Been quiet around here lately. I've not been on vacation, just keeping a low profile and trying to stay on top of things. Are those things incompatible?
