On the immigration issue...it makes me angry that we have had this immigration problem for YEARS, used the illegals for labor, took their tax money and all of a sudden, we need to deport several million people back to different countries!! People who have been here 20-30-40 years! That is inhumane to me...I am hurting from the tearing apart of families and their livehood...stranding them out in a strange world to start over! AND, what makes it even worse in my book...there is NO PLAN, on the immigration issue at this moment! Just news clips on how 'one people' can destroy the lives of 'other people!' Yes! I feel very angry about this situation !

Yeah, I've felt loneliness. Perhaps not as profound as what you appear to feel. I feel it in terms of a lack of a friend, either male or female, and also in not having a female love interest. My mind wants fulfillment in both with one person.
Freedompath replies on Jan 23, 2018:
Well...good luck with that!! I learned the HARD way that we can never put that much pressure on one person! That also narrows your developmental process (I believe we are always developing). Have you visited a nursing home and come across a patient male/female that put their whole life in the hands of their now deceased spouse? It is not a pretty picture! @Marcus_Angelus I must have missed something here in my "old age'...I have seldom heard a reasoning person refer to Democrats as 'communism'! What dictionary did you use, maybe I will look it up in the kind you used and see where I went off the cliff...
Are there others here, who have felt the loneliness in your soul, that feels like a kind of hell?

I have. Its one of the worst feelings in the world. I've been on my own and achy loneliness comes, and I've been with someone where I feel like I'm more alone even surrounded by others. My dog is my life. He makes my days better

...don't give up, relationships take time! Even friendships sometimes are tested by 'fire,' and not all friendships work, same as all marriages don't work! And, the more we are connected to ourselves, the more we know what we are willing to give away! And what we choose to give away, is given freely, without regret!

I've felt exactly that way sometimes. Then I observed that whatever someone thinks is wrong with them and preventing them from meeting someone else, someone out there want what that person has to offer. So continuing to be in the game may result in an end of loneliness, or some interesting ...

Searching for anything is a lonely path, be it a 'love,' an answer to a complex problem, or our place that matters in the 'world!'
What political party do you consider yourself to be?
Rufus_Maximus comments on Jan 21, 2018:
I've voted for more than one, depending upon which seems to have the best approach to the pertinent issues at the time. I would never align myself permanently with a party.

@briangs AND...I see that you disespect people with EASE...that is scary!!
It has been weighing on me heavily, this last debate I was a part of here, in regards to the thread ...

I would like to say, that I was not part of the post that you referred to, but you sounded a little hard on yourself! Learning curves are hard...no matter what they cover. I would not 'judge' you so harshly...mainly because, I once stood in your footsteps! Without, experience, I know of few ...

WOW...that is a lot!!! I do get your 'regret' and wanting to make amends. Most admirable! But, I believe that you are in a 'forever' uphill climb, if you are living your life, for your dead or alive 'people'...' each of whom had/have different ideas about who you were/are! I can't imagine one of them wanting you to life a life that would be to please them! (By the way, none of them would have been perfect, but according to your assessment they must have had integrity) They would want you to be yourself and learn from your mistakes and JUST become even more of who YOU are! That is major job in it's self, for each of us...no less, attempting to measure up to 'dead' people (or even the living)! ...I'm just saying!! If you can take it further...I applaud you!!

Loneliness is a very devastating feeling, it increases when you don't feel that you belong in the society! specially when the society rejects you!
Freedompath replies on Jan 21, 2018:
I completely agree...as I have had a lot of that experience in my lifetime!

@briangs please may I ask...since this was not a discussion on Goebbels, why did you abdicate your power (of thought) to Goebbels? You are using 'Goebbels' complete quote to support your position! Can"t you stand behind YOUR argument?

@briangs However, that 'person' running with that party, will never be able to stand-out, of the herd! He will merge, with the majority over time! (Think about mob mentality.) Look at Trump, he was once a Democrat and SHOULD have some carryover, from his earlier life?! He is even confused!!!
Donald Trump has gone nuts and has tried to get the book banned.

All patriotic and moral weapons MUST get their dander up and demand Trump's impeachment. We need to flood the offices of ALL of our US representatives and senators with calls for impeachment.

Why do so many people in the US seek out therapy?
ToakReon comments on Jan 10, 2018:
Because many Americans are dingbats.

...that is not very deep! 'Dingbats' doesn't sound like a disorder! Have you ever gotten therapy?
