@UrsiMajor Yes, it can be difficult, especially as they are ones network, however one doesn't have to "fight". I have friends and family who are religious but we can discuss things in a civilised manner and have different opinions but maybe that is because the are not Americans who don't seem to be able to do that. Maybe that was a bit harsh of me to say but I have found that when I was visiting the US on several occasions if one discussed anything with others there they got very angry and aggressive if you did not agree with them.

@MizJ What, have you got any proof about this disinformation coming from "other" countries? Especially Russian? I don't think you have any idea of what is going on in Russia at all. The press there is very restricted and so is the internet. By the way the rest of the world do not have this kind of crazy religious churches that are spreading disinformation as you have in the US, so please stop blaming 'other' countries for this.

Where did it say anything about moderate Muslims, or British Muslims supporting this? Just because someone says they are moderate doesn't mean that they are. What one person thinks of being moderate is not the same as someone els does.

Yes, it baffles me to hear that it was so. I was educated in Europe and our education was way different to what you had there. Not only did we know what black people had to endure in the US but also what was happening around the world.
