@UrsiMajor Yes, it can be difficult, especially as they are ones network, however one doesn't have to "fight". I have friends and family who are religious but we can discuss things in a civilised manner and have different opinions but maybe that is because the are not Americans who don't seem to be able to do that. Maybe that was a bit harsh of me to say but I have found that when I was visiting the US on several occasions if one discussed anything with others there they got very angry and aggressive if you did not agree with them.

Many churches these days are being sold as religion is dying or at least that is what happens here in Australia. People buy them and convert them into houses. When I was in UK there was a large church that had been converted into appartments.

@Ryo1 Hi, I live in Australia and I have friends who are religious but never are they in my face either. I have also travelled in Islamic countries and have dealt with people from there but have never ever had anyone of them in my face. Only when I have travelled in the US have I encountered religious people who were aggressive when religion came up in conversation.
