We seem to be getting a lot of members from the Phillapines. I remember the girls (virtually 100%) in Hong Kong, they would do anything to get a US or UK passport. I could never blame them, I would absolutely have married a 70 year old if I had been in their situation. Could be that is what is happening? However I also know there is a growing atheist community there, who are seriously angry at the Catholic church, their mad president and the weird population problems. Just saying, she may be a passport hunter...she may just want out.

Holiday day...bags are packed. My partner has banned me from taking my Surface pro, I have my phone but virtually no signal up there. Full tank of diesel, food in the cupboard for the boy. I am a British Mental Health nurse, senior clinical practitioner and university lecturer. I am sucessful, independant and have a future and I suffer from depression. At times I contemplated taking my life so much it was hard to walk past the bannister rails in my house. I had all these stupid smiley pics and I was distraught. I teach how mental illnesses affect us, I know how medications and SFTs work. I am a CBT practitioner, I can provide BFTs and px most medications but I cannot cure myself. Fluoxetine helps, but I find it blunts all my feelings. I genuinely believe that this is an epigentic maladaption and we are just scratching the surface as to understanding. By the way...and I MEAN THIS SERIOUSLY. You matter..if you are struggling PM me. I can't give online counselling but I can talk to you. I am even happy to call. Be well...it will all work out in the end.

Throughout my life I have been accused of being too kind, too soft, too caring. It has invariably been used as an insult. I will not change, I choose to see the good in people (until they prove themselves otherwise) and if a person comes with an open hearted apology, I choose to forgive. It is me who has the right to live in peace that I try my best. I am virtually penniless and live month to month but honestly, I am happy. As my old Mum used to say, 'there's no pockets in shrouds!'
