A storm has arrived and flood waters are rising. A man is sitting on his front porch when a truck comes by and the driver shouts out, "get in, you need to get out of here." The man smiles and responds, "that's okay, God will save me." The truck drives off... A little later, the waters are getting higher, the man is standing by his window on the second floor. Some people come by in a small motorboat and someone again shouts out, "get in, you need to get out of here." Again the man smiles and responds, "that's okay, God will save me." The boat moves off... Again later, the waters have gotten even higher, the man has climbed on to his roof. A helicopter stops and hovers overhead and someone shouts out, "we'll drop you a line, get on, you need to get out of here." And again, the man smiles and responds, "that's okay, God will save me." The helicopter flies off... The flood waters get higher and the man drowns. When he sees God he says, "why didn't you save me?" And God responds, "I sent you a truck, a boat, and a helicopter. What else do you want?"
