I can handle being alone, but I find I don't go out and do much. If there is no one to share it with, to talk about whatever you are doing, it is a pretty empty experience for me. I miss another persons touch. Fortunately this community, with an average age of 55, is a community of huggers, men and women. I like that.

Did you ever see him live? I saw him in the late 80's. It was a great show except he had this guy that introduced him at the beginning of the show who come out every two or three songs and yelled into the mic, "JAMES BROWN! IT'S JAMES BROWN!" Like we really didn't know who the fuck we paid $25 dollars to see and if we really didn't know, we wouldn't figure it out pretty quickly. James was a few years past being able to get away with a skin tight jumpsuit, but he did not let that stop him. It was big fun, and just what you would expect a James Brown show to be.
