Why do Christians get threatened and terrified by Atheists?
Sticks48 comments on Dec 28, 2019:
Because maybe they aren't that sure themselves. They are faced with the same lack of proof we are. When they see people who are very confident in their own non-belief. I think it makes them have some doubt as to their own beliefs. Blind faith is not as easy as it sounds for someone with a certain level of intelligence. IMO
Just some fucking dude.. no shit. Didn't take a rocket scientist to figure that one out.

One can be both an extrovert and still be reflective. They are not mutually exclusive. Anymore than being an introvert makes one reflective. All introverts are not the same and all extroverts are not the same.

Sticks48 comments on Dec 28, 2019:
Sometimes I sort of have these conversations in my head if it is important, but of course they never go that way. I learned a long time ago if you have something really important to say that might be uncomfortable or has the possibility of going off the rails is to write a letter, or in these times a text or email. It keeps the conversation from getting side tracked or turning into an argument. You can edit and make sure you say what you wish to say without interruption or change of subject. They may not listen to you as much in person as they are trying to think of what to say. They will read that letter or text. That has been my experience.
I have 2 dates this weekend.

Brain Sees Men As Whole, Women In Parts.
Sticks48 comments on Dec 26, 2019:
Everyone can look however they want. Most of the men and women I see over 50 don't seem to give a shit how they look. I am not one of those people. It is pretty obvious men seem to be more visual when it comes to attraction, but that is just biology and that ain't changing. I have also observed women are much more critical of the way other women wear their makeup or dress than men are. Men and women will be attracted to who they are attracted to, and that is fact.

There are individuals who believe that being spiritual and religious are not the same thing.
Sticks48 comments on Dec 25, 2019:
I believe they can be very different, and they can be mutually inclusive. Spirituality can mean different things to different folks. Religious means you follow a religious doctrine created by a religious organization, and that is where the trouble starts. At least that is the way I see it.

Sticks48 comments on Dec 24, 2019:
I was there at the Austin Opry House when this recording was made. I love me some Waylon. I saw him 5 or 6 times. I met him once . He was very nice. We were scheduled to do a show with him at Red Rocks outside of Denver, but he canceled the tour. Two of the major disappointments in life. One...Not playing with Waylon. Two...Not playing Red Rocks, if not the best outdoor venue in the country, it is in the top three I would think.
