I have only visited one grave after a funeral, and that was my fathers when my brother and I went to Oklahoma to bury our grandmother. We stood there a couple of minutes, one of us said, I don't feel a thing, the other agreed, and we left. l feel no comfort in standing over a grave picturing my loved ones rotting corpse beneath my feet. They are in my head and heart, and that is plenty. The incredible waste of space in this country for graveyards is just as stupid as the space wasted for churches.
