[youtu.be] The Kaiser Chiefs. - I Predict A Riot. Great band!
FearlessFly comments on Feb 4, 2020:
Portraying a rowdy night out in their native Leeds with members from the former band Black Wire, "I Predict a Riot" is possibly the group's best-known song. The song makes a reference to John Smeaton ("an old Leodiensian"), a Civil Engineer, born in Austhorpe, Leeds. Singer Ricky Wilson's house was named after him.

Saying good night to all you fine people.
FearlessFly comments on Feb 3, 2020:
Baldry once noted how Rod Stewart's loose and late-night recording sessions affected the tracks, "especially those recorded on my thirtieth birthday when he showed up with cases of Remy Martin cognac and several measures of good quality champagne!" Baldry points out that "Don't Try to Lay No Boogie-Woogie on the King of Rock and Roll" was recorded "whilst laying [sic] on the floor".

I'm not aware of folks who argue that English is "good". I routinely make the argument against English and its' "idiosyncrasies" (to put it way too mildly). Part of my argument is (IMO) that there would be fewer conflicts/wars if we all spoke the same language. A similar premise is that there is too much emphasis (by most groups) on culture -- which leads to most (if not all) "us-them-ing". I don't argue for the elimination of culture, but I claim the world would be better-off with a lot less of it. IMO, better would be Esperanto, or one of the "constructed" languages : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Constructed_language
