Friend of mine paid $95 CND out of his check every month for him and his daughter. General dr visits, extended stay, vision, dental, etc. That's about $75 USD (at the time I looked up the exchange rate). Now his daughter is covered under the province. My health (no dental and vision) is $700/mo and until I meet my deductable the insurance still charges me $112 USD for a simple dr visit. Let's shut down every govt freebie (except defense). That way we can afford health. I had to go to the ER yesterday. That ambulance ride is gonna cost thousands. Hell part of my land tax goes towards the county fair! Go towards public schools (I don't have kids, so that is a special tax for me).
