I lived near a bridge that took out a number of too tall vehicles. It was also very narrow, so stuck vehicles meant a long drive around. One time, some ass decided he didn't want to turn his big rig around at the fire department, so he let most of the air out of his tires and slowly made it. He held up traffic for quite a while and while he saved miles, he certainly didn't save time, having to reinflate his tires. And, he heard a lot of angry shouts from the locals; I was polite and just watched.
