Beowulfsfriend replies on Oct 28, 2021:
@Tejas Not really any debate on Homo Sapien Sapien - purely from Africa. There were other Homo species, and at least two, possibly three or so, interbred with Sapien Sapien and left some DNA. If by debate you mean squashed theories promoted by people wanting to do more Adam and Eve, non black folks. Most likely, people from who are now known as the Khoison were the first of the Homo Sapien Sapien and they spread out of Africa, and eventually around the world. Also, recent scientific data also points to them as having the first language. Before you argue first language, I will say first language of Sapien Sapien as we do not know if other Homo species developed languages. Some people of European decent do have up to 3% Neanderthal DNA. And some in the Central plains of Western Asia have been found with Denesoven (spelling? Sorry) DNA. So, yes, there was interbreeding among the competing Homo species.

Beowulfsfriend replies on Oct 28, 2021:
@FearlessFly Well, much of my thinking does come from its use being picked up by the antivaxxers - one needs to note that its use, as they have taken it comes from Harry Potter and was meant to serve as an allegory for the Nazis And while, as of yet, there isn't much on this exact term, it seems, maybe only to me, thus the poll, that the term is related to racism and to the Nazis. If you can argue that the Nazis did not care about the mixing of the races, thus the mixing of the blood, be my guest. https://www.yahoo.com/news/unvaccinated-people-tiktok-calling-themselves-044832130.html? guccounter=1=aHR0cHM6Ly93d3cuZ29vZ2xlLmNvbS8=AQAAABR 1U7IaMQ0S5wox_2KhKnvci_4AS8z7W9Nq-DKIIjWpzd5HIcR7xFMiYSoG8n4QlA6Dkz2QhtTqEcy6d0IWoG7uGux8ulrn3CIxoEOd9pXPL1s86pu24mriyoOIXytJ232uyzjqjOkBBksYMFYeGHIpavbh4QV0nSlQu25hQ9yr From the text Purity of Blood: Introduction Purity of blood (pureza [limpieza] de sangre) was an obsessive concern that originated in mid-15th-century Spain, on the basis of the biased belief that the unfaithfulness of the “deicide Jews,” (god-killing Jews) not only had endured in those who converted to Catholicism but also had been transmitted by blood to their descendants, regardless of their sincerity in professing the Christian faith. Consequently, Old Christians “of pure blood” considered New Christians impure and therefore morally inadequate to be members of their communities. This judgment was primarily applied to the politically and economically influential group of Iberian conversos (Catholics of Jewish origins) but was extended also to moriscos (Catholics of Muslim lineage) and consequently to the natives and slaves in the colonial contexts. As a result, various civil and ecclesiastical institutions and communities issued discriminatory and segregation laws (known as estatutos, or statutes) against them. These statutes were often employed with more rigidity than certain canonically sanctioned impediments for descendants of Protestant heretics. A heated discussion over their implementation that subsequently spurred left an abundant written track that has been studied in a growing number of scholarly works. https://www.amazon.com/Pure-Blood-Marc-Hillel/dp/0671819771 Book on Hitler's plans Public television film documentary Of Pure Blood https://www.nytimes.com/1975/03/13/archives/tv-of-pure-blood-film-on-nazi-breeding-plan-documentary-to-be-on.html

There may be gorillas that prefer similar or mixed sexes. Look up bonobos, they have tons of sex: MF, MM, FF. Of course, I was looking at this from a religious point of view. Excuse me for forgetting that there are people ignorant of the science that shows humans have varying sexualities. I suppose you have no problems with forcing people to be sent to camps that force them to recognize their birth sex and that they must desire sexual relationships with people of the other birth sex. Sounds like you may be comfortable in most evangelical churches.

One of my non 4.0s was clothing, specifically unshined shoes. I said, "Lieutenant, if you allow me new shoes, I'll shine my shoes every other day." He was arrested 30 or so years ago for heroin possession in Canada. He had a lvery large amount, enough to get charged with intent to distribute. I can only imagine a US judge, but the Canadian judge accepted Keith's lawyers' argument that he was so famous and wealthy that he needed to buy the stuff in bulk and just convicted him of simple possession- no jail time and mandatory rehab. I totally am onboard with that. No one, for ANY drug possession should be jailed, IMHO.

Beowulfsfriend replies on Oct 4, 2021:
@BD66 First and foremost, lots of blah blah. No pure economic or social systems work. Things always look better on paper. I could name a bunch of "democratic socialist" countries that are doing fine - most better than the US. So, please enlighten us, would you like to live in a pure capitalism system? You can then end: social security; welfare; unemployment benefits, libraries, public education, fire departments, legal protection during bankruptcy (which would have meant certain, current wealthy individuals were in debtor's prison), environmental protections, monopoly laws, etc. Side note - I spent four years in the military during the Soviet cold war. Reading and watching not only their machinations of the world around, but ours as well. In my opinion, neither of us did the world many favors. I'll demonstrate with two places in the world: Yemen, once split into two countries, one under the auspices of the USSR, the other the Saudis and US. Once united, with promises to keep some of the "communist" or Soviet led changes like freedom from religion and BEER, the Saudis pushes in and went full on religious control. The other is Afghanistan - I'm sure you have seen the memes of Afghan women in short dresses, working, etc - most of those come from during the Soviet occupation (and it was an occupation - at times brutal and I interviewed non Afghans who were there at the start - the one ghost report I got to write). I digress, tell us how much better PURE capitalism would be.
I'm pretty sure this is accurate.
