Consequently the people applying to become police officers are the scum who have been clever enough not to have been arrested for doing the things that being a police man or woman will allow them to do with impunity.

Sorry but flammable and inflammable do not mean the same thing.
Flammable substances such as paper will spontaneously burst into flame if the temperature reaches a certain point (451 degrees fahrenheit, 233 °Centigrade for paper) Inflammable substances require the presence of fire in order to burst into flame themselves.
Basically flammable substances are far more dangerous to transport without refrigeration.

I never knew the Souts were a religious group. I was involved with them here in Australia when my children were small but we never had anything to do with religion, never. No prayers, no mention of God or Jesus. Is this something that is going on in other countries with the scouts?

The official version of the Scout Promise of Australia (almost identical to the British one) that is and always has been the prefered version as opposed to the secular one I quoted earlier

and yet you said "In ALL my years both a Cub and then a Scout NEVER once was prayer apart of anything to do with Scouts or Scouting."
An oath to do your duty to God is not religious or a prayer?

@Jolanta The Scouts originated in the UK and were very much tied to the C of E who financed them.
Church patrol on a Sunday was mandatory, and it was this more than anything that lead to the Catholic Church forming the "Boys Brigade" so that good little catholics did not have to go to Anglican churches.
Prayer was mandatory in every meeting up until the 1980's and the Boy Scout oath contained a swearing of Allegiance to "God and the Queen".
It was and to a lesser extent still is a religious organisation.

In fact when girls were admitted to the UK Scouts, it was one of the major arguments against allowing the change.
LBP is on record as saying girls must never be allowed in the scouts as it would lead boys astray from many pursuits, and instead lead that to the terrible sin of "Self Abuse".
It was why he had his "wife" with whom he had a famously and celebrated Celibate marriage set up the girl guide movement, to keep the "fools of women" away from his lads thus ensuring they were too busy whittling at woodcraft, or clasped in prayer to have there hands stray in a southerly direction .
