It's one thing to agree or disagree about politics , particularly in a different period of culture . It's quite another to believe that your partner should be treated with a slave owner mentality . When a man feels his woman should not have access to birth control and oh , by the way , he feels no obligation to support the children he creates ? That's her responsibility , even though she won't be earning the same salary as the men who are her coworkers , doing the same work . And yes , it does cost her more to be prepared for her job . I went onto a barber shop to get my hair cut . Because I was a woman , he told me I'd need a double appointment . I told him my hair is both fine and thin and I didn't need a double appointment . He didn't need even one full appointment , but still charged me for two . Dry cleaners are the same way . They charge more to clean a woman's blouse than to clean a man's shirt . The signs do not say they charge extra for ruffles . It says they charge more for a woman's blouse . Ever try to get away wearing socks to an office job - pantyhose cost more than socks , but socks aren't acceptable as women's office clothing . Even women with higher education and extreme high level skills , not only do not earn the same salary , but men often take official credit for the best work they produce . And we're supposed to agree with these comments and beliefs ? ? ?

Just out of curiosity . is there some specific reason you keep pushing your priesthood on an agnostic site ? The vast majority of us began with a solid decades long , upbringing in religion , we gave it a LOT of thought , and have reached our conclusions rejecting it .We came here because we rejected it and wanted to have friends where we would not have to deal with religion or the religious folks trying to press their beliefs on us again . It helps if there is a defribulator available in any buildings that routinely has large amounts of people , particularly , if they are doing a lot of exercising activities . I was at home and not feeling quite right , so made an appointment with my cardiologist . When they tried to set it up for six weeks off , I kept pushing for a much earlier appointment . Should have gone to the emergency room instead . At any rate , when my appointment day came , they hooked me up to a computer , the young lady ran a few tests , and called in the doctor . He asked who was with me. When I told him , no one , he said if there was no one I could call to drive me to the emergency room , he would call an ambulance . He told me the bottom half of my heart , wasn't talking to the top hald . My appointment was at 10:45 AM . At 5:00PM they rolled me into surgery and installed a pace maker .

It's difficult to maintain an honest friendship with a man , because they each seem to feel any relationship with a women must include sex , which always seems to complicate things . It is hard , but on very rare occasions it can happen . I managed to make friends with a former neighbor . We occasionally get together for lunch or a movie . I usually pay my own way , but sometimes he moves forward and pays a bill , which I make up for by taking on the expenses for a later get together .Once the sex and money portions have reached a mutually acceptable arrangement , then it's a matter of mutual interests . I was surprised at lunch yesterday , when he claimed I am his only friend . I know he has other friends , is very socially adapt , and as an entrapenor , actively runs three businesses . He's neat , clean , and works out routinely . This is a friendship of several years , to date , and I hope it remains just as it is . I can get along without both love and sex , but I do enjoy having a real friend .
