When I was small , I didn't have a hair brush , not that it was a big deal . I recall , as plastic became available , that we could actually afford to get one for each of us , where as we couldn't each have a wooden one with boar's bristles . While we have become accustomed to cheap and readily disposable things because they are made of plastic , it's still less than my lifetime since plastic became the be all that it is today . We can easily reduce the amount of plastic we use , if we go back to some of the old ways . If we take the time to use items that are not so readily disposable . Not everything has to be totally coated in plastic , then put in more plastic to prove that we've actually paid for items before we leave the stores . Using fabric bags that we own and take with us to the stores , when we go shopping would be a step in the right direction . Disposable dinnerware is not a necessity for every meal . We;ve lost elegance at meals . Instead of shiney metal flatware that we are proud to own , we're eating off of sheets of paper , drinking out of wax coated cardboard cups , and yes , if we use flatware at all , it's plastic .

Correct . It does not make sense for a reason . The assorted books of the Bible were written by men . These were then sorted through by another man , who chose which of these books to include in the Bible . Men wanted to feel good about themselves . So they wrote that there were two kinds of women . Good women were submissive , they worked to please men , Other women , ones who thought for themselves , who stood up for themselves were bad . But it is what religion teaches us . I studied electronics , I understand about electrons moving from one atom to another , about resisters , IC chips , capacitors , etc . But when you put them altogether in a specific manner , add electricity , and stations are broadcasting 50 year old movies , and you can see what they have decided to broadcast and which channel you have decided to view , there's still magic .

Basically , the one and only thing most Mensa / Intel people have in common , is that we are voracious readers , so can answer lots of questions . Common sense , is not a part of the program , although , due to a lot of reading , we are likely to score better in those areas as well .
