It's about freaking time the Dr. was in. I'm out of Moscow Mule mixers, but I have white wine, Italian cream, and a variety of small tomatoes. What should I do?

Walk but don't try to drive to the liquor store and get some Tequila and Cointreau, pick up a dozen limes from the grocer and fire up your blender when you get home, you need to get serious.

Dr Z , I have a mountain of laundry to fold and a full tank of gas in my car . Should I stay home today and do house chores or hop in the car and go somewhere w dogs ? Debating for last 2 hrs !
Surfpirate replies on Oct 13, 2018:
She who hesitates is lost, you could have had most of the laundry done and the car packed up, ready to go in those two hours. Throw the laundry in the machine and take the dogs for a walk around the block in your pajamas, you're in no shape to be driving a car.

@PolyWolf they're pretty easy online crosswords, about 10 minutes a piece, not the Sunday New York Times crossword. I used to play one in the shape of a cube with twin secondary topic puzzles running along each axis, great fun and if I didn't knock that one out in under 5 minutes I was annoyed with myself. Chess is less of a passion with me although I will always remember an epic match between two good friends in high school - Karen and Bill, both math savants. With the whole crews room watching, Bill slowly cornered Karen and declared Checkmate, Bill went to get up and bask in his victory when Karen said No, there's a way out of this. Bill was incensed and sat back down to try and spot the out, What out? it's a checkmate there is no out, to which Karen replied yes there is an Option, then she yelled NUCLEAR OPTION and flipped the board in the air. Everyone roared with laughter except for Bill who didn't speak to Karen for a week and they were good pals.

Morgan feinted at the smaller kid (what they would expect) and then wheeled around and nailed the biggest kid in the solar plexus, then a quick elbow to the face of the second largest kid as the smaller kid ran off. A couple more shots to make sure there was no further resistance and he let them go. Mission Accomplished.

Trudeau is a Canadian Liberal (you'd call him a democratic socialist on a good day, although I don't know how many of those you actually have) as for myself I would define myself as a Lefty Libertarian. I'm fiscally conservative and prefer less government and not more but I also recognize that corporate mentality has lead to a break in the social contract between business and society, so government has to step in to maintain civility. What you call conservative politics in the US is seen as fascism by the rest of the world, or more politely put a corporatocracy where democracy becomes a pale imitation of the liberty based government that made America an icon for freedom. The brothels in Pompei and all of the Roman Empire were manned by slaves, I say manned because male and female prostitutes were on offer in often squalid conditions. A judge must be fair and impartial, unbiased in his decisions for the greater good, Brett Kavanaugh has shown that he is not that type of person and is therefore wholly unfit for the position on the SCOTUS. Canadians love justice and fair play as much as anyone and since the US government overreaches into the affairs of other nations including Canada's it is of concern to Canadians just what sort of people are in power in the US in all branches of government. If your government would be so good as to keep their nose out of Canadian business then we would have no concern about what goes on in the US but they just can't seem to help themselves, now can they?
