This is from an old American sitcom from the late 70's, "WKRP in Cincinnati". The bumbling newsman, Les Nessman (I forget the actor who played him) sponsored a Thanksgiving promotion dropping turkeys from a helicopter that ended horribly.

This explains why I was so willing to retire.

@Garban Some employers are just dicks, not sure that was your situation. Place where I last worked, a software company, stopped giving drug tests because it was affecting their recruiting.
