@Dhiltong I'm a retired science teacher...and I showed this quite often toward the end of my career. It has to be an all time great for explaining the changes in earth. For example; did you know we were once 90% CO2? The oceans were green because there was no oxygen in the early atmosphere; so iron compounds were suspended in water. Red skies...Green oceans.....and once we were even completely covered with ice! So after we became the "blue" planet, we were "white" for many millions of years! Google "snowball earth"....its a valid hypothesis! Great video! You'll love it.

What I didn't like about this video (compared to the O.P.) was the long, drawn-out explanations. The casual views of it. "Science loves mystery"? I WISH the top were used the most; but I'm afraid that debaters rarely "refute the specific point"...it's often (and sadly, most commonly) a personal attack, or at least an "ad hominem" attack. Having said that; I'm on Facebook far less, and here far more often because more folk here debate the issues rather than go to the lower end of the triangle. I love those ducks. I raised Muscovy ducks on my farm for years and they would love to fly around and perch way up in the trees. They were huge ducks, weighing more than twenty or thirty pounds. When they flew it sounded like Hollywood special effects for the dragon movies.

Wow; let's call this Pasta Monday. I had a giant squash in the fridge that needed cooking...so I grilled the pieces, then rolled them up in lasagna noodles, added mozarella and sauce (anc chicken and olives) and made some nice individual servings for myself!

@Cutiebeauty The zucchini shrunk down as it 'grilled" even though I mixed it with olive oil and spices...which was good for me...I separate the cooked zucchini in to two batches and cooked half rolled up in the 5 lasagna noodles, and saved half (now in the freezer) for the next batch.

This, I think, has caused an error it its' interpretation (that distant objects are speeding up. The doppler shift is easy to prove with sound...we can hear the sounds change as the sound source passes us... but we can't be as objective with light. I don't think that the furthest items in the universe are gaining speed. I think that in years to come we're going to discover that we misinterpreted the red shift of these very distant objects primarily because of the lensing effect of light that causes it to speed up as it goes around large massive objects. But I could be wrong.

I had bad luck with match and with Eharmony; but I really did have decent success with OKcupid and POF ...and both allowed messaging for free. OK cupid actually had the question forum which I found useful. Agnostic may not be focused on "dating" but we can chat for free, we can post plenty of pics, and a detailed bio. I look at that as angst reducing features. Couple that with getting percentages based on what we're looking for; from distance to age range to education background to even height....and that should be angst reducing, not angst inducing.

I think they're just misreading the shift. I support the fluctuating universe theory; that suggests the expansion that's happening now will slow down...then reverse...and all the matter will come together to an infinite point - to "big-bang" again... Yeah, you missed quite a lot. Admin suddenly announced the general forums (ie everything that isn't groups) was no more; most of us said "No! We want the general forums back!" and lo! - Admin gave us back the general forums. It was all a bit mad, but it turned out OK in the end.

@skado I'm getting it.....but if you go to "Post"....an icon comes up "make post" . #VictoriaNotes showed me the basics....but I'm in level 8...and this should be simpler - the access is a little confusing for me....but obviously a lot of newbies are clueless. I'm just suggesting that the paths to a GeneralPost be made clearer....Clear as murky mud? Perhaps in the golden box on the "make post" page they can say instead of just "make a post for the community" they can add, "if no group is chosen, then it will be posted in the General Forum". Just sayin....
