@skado I'm getting it.....but if you go to "Post"....an icon comes up "make post" . #VictoriaNotes showed me the basics....but I'm in level 8...and this should be simpler - the access is a little confusing for me....but obviously a lot of newbies are clueless. I'm just suggesting that the paths to a GeneralPost be made clearer....Clear as murky mud? Perhaps in the golden box on the "make post" page they can say instead of just "make a post for the community" they can add, "if no group is chosen, then it will be posted in the General Forum". Just sayin....

This needs to be clarified; perhaps within the "POST" link there can be a label called "General Forum" or a comment that "if no group chosen, then it will go to the General Forum"? Asking for a friend....(me who should know better...but it really isn't clear).

@thinktwice I, too was convinced that sugar was wise to avoid...so I went to splenda. But then I was dealing with a swollen prostate and frequent sleep interruptions...and someone suggested reading up on using Splenda...and I read that it could be stressing my kidneys and bladder...so they recommended going back to sugar. it seems to be working...so it's a matter of sacrificing the 50-60 more calories per day vs. having to get up so often at night....

Thanks for getting back to me. I should add; I only had 2-3 cups; about 20 ounces...say, a liter or so there. Here I consume almost twice that. (if not, more)...about 45-50 ounces...the coffee machine says "8 cups"...yet the only difference I noticed was the need to get up at night (more here...)

It's getting late...and I'm tired of debating...we won't solve this...you and i...but let me leave you with another perspective.... One of a demographers.Those who study population trends. When I read "Population Density and social pathology" by John B. Calhoun in '63, It had a profound affect on me. I was nominated by the NSF and given a full room and board scholarship to study "the Population Explosion"; for 3 months....U. of Cinci, Ohio...with a lot of VIP's in the population study (demographic) world there. Amongst the things we learned then; ...the more crowded it gets, the more psychotic and hostile we get. I won't say much more on that; here's the link of the study I read...but basically John B. Calhoun noted as he made the rat cages smaller the rats fought more...over nothing. They started abnormal mating behaviors....male on male, female on female. I'm not saying the car/driver model is perfect...but, as Obama suggested..."if we study the science and data, we'll learn the best way to regulate them. Right now the NRA and the congress won't even let us study the data!" We have no choice but to keep closer track of the weapons and ammunition sold. The biggest profit maker for the big gun companies hasn't been the handgun nor the rifles...it's been the semi-automatic war machines...which have no business being in any civilian's hands. According to data collected by the Machine Gun Price Guide, which uses information from dealers, auctions and gun shows, the cost of a Tommy gun (the Thompson M1) went from about $9,000 in 2004 to almost $27,000 last July—a 200 percent increase. The Heckler & Koch MP5 soared 250 percent, from almost $12,000 in 2003 to $42,000. Meanwhile, the MAC10, technically a “machine pistol,” more than doubled in price from 2011 to 2017, to more than $8,000." So it's the "machine guns" the "rapid-fire" rifles that are creating the biggest profits for these companies....and the NRA backs them 100%.
