It's been a Yoga/hindu "thing for millennia..basically it starts with a primitive "survival" or "security" level (they call it Chakra) and then it goes to a need for touch/feeling (sensation), then attention/affection, then power, etc. I'll google it for you and show you the link;
The idea is to leave the lower chakras behind, not have a desperate "need" for them, so much as a "preference" for them (that allows you to "be without" without suffering).
It's pretty logical, and makes sense once you study it.

@bigpawbullets I have total respect for anyone who debates without name-calls or profanities. It's been a major trigger point for at least one divorce - mom taught me young to avoid profanity (the sign of a weak mind).
Having said that; I never served; but had friends who I know and am close to 50 years later (including a Purple Heart). I admire their courage to serve; they admired my desire to teach and keep the '"essential personnel" deferment.
I taught every level; from pre-K in a foster home (all kids never adopted...struggling with personality disorders) to adult men in prison. Had a TV cable show for a few months "Cornucopia" - a health-oriented show.
1st wife died young....cancer from far too potent birth control pills. Divorced the next 3. Single now and happily so.

When I'm in the pilot's seat...I pilot the car. The adaptive Cruise control is enough of a help (vibrates if you're out of lane/too close to other cars - and slows - even stops - if the car in front of you does - that's plenty of extra safety I've never had before.

I'm glad you thought it was cute.
I was a big fan of Trump. I didn't vote for Hillary; I was a Bernie Believer; although I thought she was the lesser of two evils.
Notice that this is "advice" he can still take. It's not too late. He has two years to turn make people see what a great leader can do. I personally hope he takes some of that advice;
Then I can respect the man and the rank. Right now....I respect the rank/the office - but not the man.

I'm glad you thought it was cute.
I was a big fan of Trump. I didn't vote for Hillary; I was a Bernie Believer; although I thought she was the lesser of two evils.
Notice that this is "advice" he can still take. It's not too late. He has two years to turn make people see what a great leader can do. I personally hope he takes some of that advice;
Then I can respect the man and the rank. Right now....I respect the rank/the office - but not the man.

The electric care “charging station” concern is called “range anxiety”. If you’ve ever run out of gas....it’s sort of the same thing. Your life is interrupted. You have to pay $$ and time for the inconvenience. But you learn the lesson. Same goes for charging. You plug in when you’re home. No smells. No stranger-danger. No credit card loss/theft issues. I was stunned and shocked by the “adaptive cruise control”...it senses cars too close or if you’re drifting out of lane (the steering wheel vibrates) and will actually come to a stop if the car in front of you stops. That’s plenty of “help”...I don’t need hands free...I’d probably fall asleep!

I’ve done my best to help her and her daughter...but if I’m in a 12+ year relationship with a woman who’s gainfully employed (making more than I did when I was working) and I see the daughter draining her year after year, that makes me a victim as well
This woman who I fell in love with now can’t share costs like she used to. She has to “wire” her daughter emergency money. It hurts me to see this woman who I used to love dearly being taken advantage of....so where do I draw the line? Where do I not help? Where do I look the other way? The ex...the daughter’s father....is disabled. He had a “stroke” and is in and out of the hospital. The daughter actually makes a token amount of $$ as a care-giver (I don’t think she’s had any formal training). Her mother has visited her far more often than the daughter has visited the mother.
