@SnowyOwl I have arthritis over most of my body as well as PTSD and find that Cannatonic strain works really well for both issues. Problem is you can't find it in the US anymore because most dispensaries go for the far better selling high THC only strains that are in demand for recreational uses. Breez produces a good option for me in pill form with 10MG of THC and 10 more in CBD which doesn't stuff my head full of cotton and really helps with pain, anxiety and stress. The turpines in the tablet form seem to be about the same as Cannatonic so if I feel like it is wearing off I can take one in public and nobody even realizes to them it is just like any other medication. Far better than the opioids the VA wanted me to use and I don't have to worry about being addicted to that shit at my age. Oh and how much are midframe motors running.

I expect that if the proposed budget is blocked we will start seeing cannibalism starting in the Deep South in now more than 10 years from now probably as soon as 6 moths (sorry impossible to predict more exactly because there are too many factors). This fits with many historic trends in all parts of the world. Cannibalism happens far more often than it gets into the news and when it does get in the news people switch the channel after thinking to themselves how sickening those people were and how it could never happen in their neighbourhood. In this society the way the economy is run the entire country is no more than 30 days away from complete starvation. @Castlepaloma So you got rich doing this did you?... From what I see you can make more flipping burgers than sand sculpting. At least flipping burgers is steady work with benefits and minimum wage in California being $15 an hour would put you up to at least $600 a week at McDonalds but most places here are getting smart and paying employees more because nobody wants to work like a slave for minimum wage. Hell I know some people who work at Amazon and they are being forced to raise wages again to keep their good workers. One of them was just informed he was getting a raise to $22 an hour (880 a week). Sand sculpting you would be lucky to average 2 to 3K a month it looks like and during this pandemic I doubt you would see one job in 3 months.

@Castlepaloma Considering the San Diego contest had its 8th annual in 2019 that seems a bit fishy....Oh and once again I don't think the US gives out green cards to sand sculptors those are permanent residency while contests like that come under a temporary work visa and once the contest is over you would have to leave... Failure to leave while not a crime is considered a civil violation...

Apparently she had her daughter present and afterwards her daughter was hired (and received her licence as well) as a state appraiser and the head who had refused to give her the licence before was fired 3 months later?... Apparently she is now under investigation facing a possible indictment and the state paid the woman she fired $200,000 in damages...

I looked up your location it is the ass end of nowhere with no infrastructure at all (including educational) so I doubt someone who grew up in that area could qualify or afford any University of California school much less afford to live in Southern California.... much less Los Angeles... 20K a year tuition plus books and lab fees on top of rent, transportation, food, and utilities would run at least 60K a year for four years... and that is for a resident of California not a foreign national....

Southern CA has the most competitive grocery market in the country so not only is service better but prices are very competitive as well. Last trip to the store I stocked up on eggs and bought 4 dozen for $4.98... I also bought 3 pounds of real butter for 9.99 and 4 pounds of 85% ground beef for $2.99 a pound. Milk is usually about $3 a gallon here as well...
