@SeaGreenEyez Some talk about other dating sites. My brother talked me into signing up on Match a few years ago as I was living in a small college town with thirty thousand students, and not very many women in my age group. It and other dating sites are not social like this place is my understanding. I definitely met women on Match I felt like didn't really want to meet anyone in person. They really liked having an on line relationship. They were always just far enough away, like a couple of hundred miles, just enough to make it inconvenient. A lot of scammers there too. I did the ninety days and left.

I met a guy at the gig the other night with Parkinson's which forced him to retire. There are certain things I can't do anymore on the drums because of age, but I can make up for it with the way I think and taking a different approach.

I was very fortunate to have parents and grandparents who were not the norm where I grew up in southern Oklahoma and north Texas in the 50's and 60's. I also spent my elementary school years spending time on a military base playing with Black kids, Hispanics kids, and Asian kids. We were all just kids having fun. I am so glad I don't carry that ridiculous dislike and hatred for people of a different race. I am constantly ashamed of my race and country for the treatment of people of color. I truly am.

It could be because I'm a musician, and there are so many of us in Central Texas, they know I don't have a lot of money. I'm not sure I have either. I think he had it made. If he did, it is pretty ingenious. No strap needed for the guitar, and no switching out for the lap steel.

@SeaGreenEyez pretty much daily. I only go there to check on local happenings and keep up with friends in other places. The couple of times I interacted with folks I don't know were not good experiences. I didn't feel stupid, but I knew I was talking to stupid. So, I don't really interact on FB like other folks do.
