It is called ADD. My ability to concentrate for long periods of time is very limited. Overly descriptive writers will lose me by around 300 pages. I have a brain and can paint my own pictures. I don't need every little thing described in detail. I want them to get a move on the story. I have never made it through a Stephen King novel because of this style of writing, and I like King. It is the same with most books on science. They repeat everything so much I get bored and have to put it down. I have done much better with recorded books.

Other than Obama Care and the current bill just passed they have stopped all major legislation for about 40 years. The Republicans start expensive wars and lower taxes on the rich at the same time. When Obama left office McConnell had over 400 bills on his desk which had been passed through the House which he refused to bring to the Senate floor.
