@ArgosFriend That had to be scary for your parents. I used to get the flu almost every year. I started getting flu shots in my 50's, and haven't had it since. I've known four people including Leon Russell who had polio. Big believer in vaccines.

I remember my parents had one but not this color. Do you know of anybody that still has one?

He told me once, my generation fucked things up by making a big deal out of pot, and brining all that attention to it. @GuyKeith The Big 10 is plus 4. I won't be surprised if the Big 12 breaks up after the current TV contract expires. When the Big 12 was talking expaension it had everything to do with how much more TV audience a team can bring to bring in enough revenue to pay for themselves. There just aren't any of those teams left. BYU was one that could, but they won't participate in Sunday events, and Sunday is filled with sports like baseball, softball, basketball, both men's and women's, golf, track, and gymnastics, so they were out.

I use a djembe when we do our acoustic gigs. One of the best investments l ever made. I use my kick mic on the bottom and an enexspensive vocal Mic on the top. I use a brush in my left hand for a snare sound and use my right hand for a kick pattern. Add some chimes, a woodblock and a small cymbal, and it is like a small kit. The low tone of the drum makes it sound like we have a bass player. TMI? ☺

@Sheannutt When my brother and l moved back to Austin from Colorado in 84, we workrd for a friend who had a staging co. We put up concert stages for a couple of months. We built one for President Reagan. Anyway, That is the only time l ever drank GA, and it really worked.

@Sheannutt Yes, two other band members and 3 or 4 winks. The only thing they had to its for toilet paper was the pages out of a Bible, and that is the truth. We sang jail songs just to irritate everybody.
