Our generation grew up on John Wayne and Clint Eastwood, and while it may sound silly, those movies had a great impact on our youth. We were the first generation given toy guns that looked like real guns. Big changes happen when generations pass on.

@ShadowAmicus I don't know how Lauda climbed back in a F1 car. I lost a lot of interest when they went to automatic transmissions. Shifting gears was such an important part of driving. My father was in the Navy, I was born at Balboa Hospital in San Diego. He joined at the start of WWll. Waylon and Kris? My brother met Kris and talked to him for awhile at Willie's first picnic. I met Waylon backstage at one of his shows. We were scheduled to do a show with Waylon at Red Rocks outside of Denver, but he canceled a tour due to reasons of health. We were extremely disappointed. I saw him five or six times. @Heidi68 The messaging gets old and peters out pretty quickly. I have talked to 5 women on the phone and only two of them over a period of time. One was a real connection, with a lot of laughing, a lot of opening up to each other, but distance and age difference were too much. If this were just a dating site I would have left months ago.
