About a year ago the wife of the Baptist preacher approached us and asked what our religious affiliation was. Without hesitation I said agnostic. She had invited us to attend Sunday school. I did it very reluctantly. Over that time the Pastor and his wife became friendly. I was having a hard time digesting the religious rhetoric. I started making excuses why could not attend the sessions. After I had made the 5th excuse the pastor's wife asked me if they offended me somehow. I told her straight out that I could not take the religious myths and that I have been a lifelong agnostic. The pastor's wife told me that they understand. We remained friendly. She even located me a cleaning lady.

From what I have noticed in any pro or anti debate what happens is the information that is presented is perceived very differently from both sides. Like almond joy has nuts and mounds don't. So it is only telling you that one candy has almonds in it and leaves you to assume mounds has something else in it other than nuts. If the scenario is presented the other way mounds only have shredded coconut in them and almond joy have shredded coconut and almonds in them the receiver of the information has more data to interpret. So many times this is what happens the presenter or writer either intentionally or accidentally omits information and that changes the meaning of the message. They assume the receiver will fill in the missing information and the result is an extreme misunderstanding. The media is guilty of this a lot because bad news sells and that is how they want it interpreted as.

This is a conundrum question because everyone has a slightly different perspective of what normal is. Example putting the toilet paper on a roll putting it over the top might seem like common sense because it is easier to spin towards you from the top. Another might think that pulling it from the bottom makes more sense because it is easier to pull. Then another might not like it on the roller at all because it is a hassle. Then another might not use it at all because they prefer the bidets. So what is normal, an agreed upon choice? So who`s choice has a more perceived efficient way of accomplishing a goal?
