@CourreurDeBois OK, you have me beat! I turned off cable during the 2015 Iowa Primary. (I live about 30 miles from Iowa, we see all their advertising.) I do have a Roku, but still I don't watch TV often. The TV is in the basement family room. It is winter in Nebraska, and OMG my family room is cold. A few weeks ago I moved everything necessary upstairs, the TV is still downstairs as I have no idea where I might put it. So I am totally TV free for at least 2 weeks. I don't really miss it.

It is a political liability because that means an female working for him/near him has a handicap, will not get unfettered access to him, too many restrictions. Just freaking old world weird! I don't think the mrs. made that decision, that is their church/religion and again old world, he makes the decisions.

@LucyLoohoo No lasting effects but the memory lingers. When my kids were small my ex had an unaccompanied tour in Korea, the kids and I moved to Belleville, IL, right outside St. Louis. For protection someone gave me a personal size tear gas. Having small kids I put it where small kids could not reach it. The challenging middle child (age 4) moved a chair and other stuff to be able to climb up to where the tear gas was, and promptly managed to spray herself in the face. She's 30 now, no lasting damage, though she remembers it very well! And frequently she tells thanks that I didn't drown her!

Oh my goodness, you're so young!! That is Boris and Natasha from the Rocky and Bullwinkle TV Cartoon Series, actually called the Bullwinkle Show. The lead characters and heroes of the series were Rocket "Rocky" J. Squirrel, a flying squirrel, and his best friend Bullwinkle J. Moose, a dim-witted but good-natured moose. Both characters lived in the fictional town of Frostbite Falls, Minnesota, which was purportedly based on the real city of International Falls, Minnesota. The scheming villains in most episodes were the fiendish spies Boris Badenov, a pun on Boris Godunov, and Natasha Fatale, a pun on femme fatale, forever attempting to "catch Moose and Squirrel". Other characters included Fearless Leader, the dictator of the fictitious nation of Pottsylvania and Boris and Natasha's superior, Gidney & Cloyd, little green men from the moon who were armed with scrooch guns; Captain Peter "Wrongway" Peachfuzz, the captain of the S.S. Andalusia; various U.S. government bureaucrats and politicians (such as Senator Fussmussen, a recurring character who opposed admitting Alaska and Hawaii to the Union on the grounds of his own xenophobia); and the inevitable onlookers, Edgar and Chauncy. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Adventures_of_Rocky_and_Bullwinkle_and_Friends It went off the air in 1964.

When I was in Germany, early 80s, I dated a German man and he wore a cross as a work of art. We did not communicate well, but I think he said he did not go to church he just liked the design. It was heavy gold and likely expensive. In Germany the parishioners pay a tax to support the church. Wouldn't that be a great idea in the US! That would shut down some of the mega churches.
