Ever give your cat some ice cream?
HippieChick58 comments on Apr 8, 2018:
My cats are very interested in everything I eat. I haven't let them share the ice cream yet, I don't love them that much :D
HippieChick58 replies on Apr 8, 2018:
@SACatWalker The only ice cream I eat is chocolate. And it is usually my ginger who is the inquisitive, persistent one when it comes to my food. She does want the chocolate ice cream and I have to speak to her sternly and move it out of her reach.

The first time I realized I was depressed I was in Germany, 409th ASA company. I didn't need to be diagnosed, I just realized I was very not happy. Sometime after that I did see a counselor. And off an on through my life I've had periods of depression/anxiety. I've been medicated a few times.

HippieChick58 comments on Mar 27, 2018:
You can be grieving and be happy. So no is the answer to your question. I once read that happiness was someone to love, something to do, and something to look forward to. It can also be said it is having meaning in your life. Meaningful for me is not going to be meaningful for others.

When I had my babies I grieved anew for so many reasons, that they would never know my mother or her them, and I would not have her guidance to bring up my girls. I was happy to be a mom and have healthy babies, but at the same time missing and grieving the loss of my mom. Now tell me that I was not happy and grieving at the same time. Emotions can be complicated things.

Every state can set their own regulations, how many weeks and waiting period for example. Some states are very restrictive. And then there is malpractice and liability insurance for doctors, it is hard to remain in business. And then there are the protesters outside of clinics that allow it. So for the most part it is legal, obtainable is another story.
Isn't happiness just the absence of grief?

You can be grieving and be happy. So no is the answer to your question. I once read that happiness was someone to love, something to do, and something to look forward to. It can also be said it is having meaning in your life. Meaningful for me is not going to be meaningful for others.
