Get out in the sunshine (if you can, it is winter in some parts of the world) get some exercise, get endorphins flowing. Do something for YOU every day. And then choose to be happy. I have been in the my life sucks big time place, but I choose to be happy. It could have been much worse. It isn't easy, you have to keep practicing it every moment of everyday, but after a bit it becomes habit.

When we moved to Kansas we had a tornado room built into the basement. Where I live now I just head for the basement. I recommend the movie Twister, it is pretty accurate. I've seen people often freak out or become loudly apologetic when they misgendersomeone instead of saying, "Oh, I'm sorry" and move on. If you call someone by "he" or "she" and they correct you, simply say "I'm sorry" or "OK, thanks for telling me" and move on...

Steak, flat land and wide open spaces, corn, wheat, and if you're into college football, the Cornhuskers. And then there is our infamous governor, a New Yorker with ties to TDAmeritrade and a buddy of Der Trumps. And tornadoes.

January 13, 2021 My newest and smallest grandchild. She arrived 5 weeks early and is now 2.5 weeks old and is less than 7 pounds. I've never held such a small baby before. She is quite perfect and very amazing. I love being a Grammy.
