I originally signed up here because I was "looking for a woman to come in to my life". But at 73....I've pretty much 'given up" that search for a "lover". I had recently moved farther away from a long distant (60 miles/1 hour) relationship to double that distance - It's been 13 years of off again-on again-off again - where we can't 'agree to disagree". The move helped me "distance" myself from her.... I gave up on "match" and POF....a few dead ends left me depressed. A.com gave me some optimism. But then I learned that A.com is much more like FB; much more of just a social media site...for talking about different things....learning and sharing....which I've come to love even more than the "persuit" of a lady to love! ...and while that's been going on I'm learning to love myself better. I definitely feel some mental health improvement thanks to good people on this site.

I'm a 73 year old gent who's been divorced since '06...and in and out of a Long distance relationship; so I can sort of identlfy. It's a very important question that needs to be asked to a pro - your GP at least, more appropriately, your Urologist. He won't ask you ....you have to ask him. But having said that... There's several things to consider; 1. Are the women who are "coming on" to you (the 200 horny old women) attractive to you? If they're not a "turn-on" then you might be normal, but your intimate associates are just not inspiring you. Perhaps it's time to find a younger/youthful woman who is, in turn, turned on by you? 2. You might have to accept the fact that sexual intimacy is over in your life. A wife of 65 years will leave such a deep impression on your psyche that no woman might ever satisfy you or stimulate you again. 3. Consider all the options besides intercourse. I took my son and his new wife to New Orleans a few years ago....and among the things we did was visit an exhibit about "insects as food". I don't think I have that image of the cringe on my son's face when he "bit in" to a handful...but I couldn't even bring myself to try them. Some day I might try "insect-based-high protein" powder; if only because I like the concept of using insects as a protein source and not mammals nor birds. I am, after all...Robecology....I live up to my name! Of all the groups on Agnostic, I trust the honesty of the Conservatives and the Republicans the least. Remember; a "pillar of foundation" for both is a **"belief in God".**... So I'd take what they say with a grain fo salt... **I tried joining and debating **in both groups; and I got hate-filled, rude responses - and then I was blocked out. But in my opinion, they're trying to minimize what most of us know is true; ....that **Russian groups hacked in to our social media** ...that the Russian people are generally a sad, poor, and struggling group; but their leadership is still quite corrupt and greedy. and certain groups of technically savvy people who love Putin worked diligently to follow the lead of their leader and support Trump's win and discourage Clinton's. ...they came close to proving that these Russians (again - not all) had significant affects on our 2016 election....but many "leads" were lost. There's been many **unexplained deaths** for those connected with the Steele Dossier on Trump ( I'm attaching a copy; worth the read - 35 pages long!). ...if more of the Steele Dossier was proven true, then Trump's presidency would have been annulled. - - - - - - - - - - - The evidence of their tapping in to our social media was found in part because they worked so feverishly they got sloppy and some of our counter espionage agents picked it up. It makes sense that not only were there much more signs of Carbonisation (burning) of vast areas during man's evolution due to the increased lighting during those times; but forest fires had to have been much larger in our ancient past. Consider this; if a forest fire started...it's very likely that whole regions - perhaps even a whole continent - had their forests "Carbonized" or reduced to charcoal. And thus; if there was a series of huge fires then many of our tree-dwelling relatives transitioned to 2-legged mobility....and two legged mobility was favored to survive running away from fires better! There were no roads. There were no vast areas cleared for development. So it was much easier for a forest fire to spread, covering vast regions. ...and these events might have accelerated the bi-pedalization (getting around on 2 feet) of our ancestors!
