Is the post saying that it's impossible to indoctrinate children? I guess that word just has no meaning. Teaching children about gender pronouns sexuality and saying doctors guess a person's sex when they are born, all before they even learn what pronouns are. Is indeed indoctrination.

@Organist1 There are outbreaks of animal diseases every year, and the Dept. of Agriculture responds with draconian measures to preserve our food and ag resources. It is viewed as a cost of doing business. The Ag Dept also backs the insurance for growers to minimize the loss. It is also the reason that inspection stations are set up to stop the transport of uncertified animals and plants. Had we not had the 2 year lockdown due to an animal disease, this would not have made more than a blip on the local news.

glennlab replies on Apr 21, 2022:
@johnnyrobish I don't remember where I read it, but the bells all went off when I read it. Bankruptcy judges can claw back any suspect transaction from the previous 24 months from the date of filing. He is claiming less than $50,000 in assets in his bankruptcy filing. I have seen bankruptcy judges get upset over hiding $5000, so the millions he has sequestered could mean jail time for contempt. A lawyer was imprisoned for 14 years for failing to provide the location of his assets, they would bring him to court, he would refuse, and they would send him back to jail. So the precedent has been set.

@azzow2 I'm going to bet that the DoD had eyes on via satellite before any spokesperson would be allowed to confirm. There are very carefully scripted rules for confirmations via official spokespeople. I am sure that we have re positioned our spy satellites so that we are getting real time updates on the area. This was a 40+ year old ship and the only ones denying that it was sunk are the Russians. It's defenses were originally built in the 70s while the offensive weapons that sank it were first deployed in 2021. Add to that the fact that the Russian withdrew their fleet beyond the 300 KM range of the missile.

What animal is it?
glennlab replies on Apr 13, 2022:
It's a baby opossum, when they get this big momma sends them on their way, Up until then, they ride in her pouch or on her back as they grow older

Garban comments on Apr 13, 2022:
Yummy! Just kidding. They are cute when they’re little but hideous when cornered. Like a rat from hell. But perfectly harmless if you can keep them out of your trash, or your shop towels.🤣
glennlab replies on Apr 13, 2022:
I actually want them in my compost, their digging makes it easier on me.

Now that I don't have a dog, there is a chance this one will make it to adulthood. opossums look really knarly as adults, but are cute when little. They dig in my compost, keeping it turned and they eat ticks and other insects.
Oh Happy day another group

I've been in many of these. What are your memories of them
Killtheskyfairy comments on Apr 13, 2022:
Only used them when went camping with grandparents back in the day. Not a fan. When they started bringing my younger brother on trips, he’d shit his pants before he’d go in there because he was afraid he’d fall in. Grandma was not amused!
glennlab replies on Apr 13, 2022:
Growing up, there were lots of families out in the country that had them. If I went to visit any country friends, there was a good chance they would have one. You always had to check for wasos and snakes when you went in.
I’ll agree totally…..

@Tejas That is the same argument used to try to defeat social security, Medicare, Medicaid and the EPA. I don't buy that we are too big for it to work, people and corporations are just too greedy for it to work.

Norway 5,511,370 Finland 5,554,960 Denmark 5,834,950 Sweden 10,218,971 or roughly the size of Texas, I don't think the size argument will work. Only one US city has a population of more than the smallest country. Stockholm has a population greater than 7 states.

I hate, loathe, despise and abominate rules of being a "professional", like you can't wear certain jewelry, have visible tattoos, color your hair anything other than natural colors.... those things have nothing to do with job performance and are just ways to remove personal autonomy.

glennlab replies on Apr 10, 2022:
I'm going to guess just that ignorant. They were probably never briefed on the dangers of the area or the radiation hazards. We did extensive testing for hazards, I don't believe the USSR was as concerned with soldier safety so they Russians probably didn't know the danger.

So if a woman is expected to give birth in only days, and she purposely kills the baby within her. You don't believe she should receive any consequences?
glennlab replies on Apr 10, 2022:
Where in your sick mind did you come up with that? I don't know of any woman that has carried a baby to almost term that would terminate her pregnancy unless there were very serious problems with either her or the fetus. Do you have any idea how rare a circumstance that is? To answer your question, I would support her decision and hope that the procedure took place in a safe place to ensure the woman's health.
