@Heidi68 they are wrought with setbacks, but well worth it the years you get a return on investment. fertilize during the growing season and remove at least 2/3 of the fruit during the early stages. any deformed fruit, remove as soon as you see it, then remove it in stages to allow the best fruit to get the most nutrients. Your first pass after the fruit has set will be the hardest,emotionally. Once you get past that stage, every two weeks thin the fruit some more.

@Heidi68 I have had good luck with pomegranates because no animal likes the very bitter skins, but the extended drought followed by a very hard winter wiped them out a few years ago, the new ones are about a year way from producing again.

The VA fianlly approved my alergy meds, so today is the first day to try them out. So far not too bad when I go outside, I may start to enjoy early spring again. I hope you are doing well.

@KKGator Those are complex legal questions, prior actions indicated that once approved, they cannot be recinded, the other question is whether the expiration clause in the amendment is constitutional. Before either question is addressed, it will need to be approved by one more state. Then the legal challenges can begin.

@IamNobody I worked in a facility that had a farady cage around it, no radio signals in or out, no microwave, no TV or any other EM signals could get in. All radios and transmitters had to be checked at the door. The facility was designed in the 1940s and to this day is still effective.

Because it is an indiscriminate block, airwaves that others have already paid a fee to access are being denied. plus you have emergency response that is also blocked as well as the govt channels that are needed for law enforcement. The grill got here, the box was damaged, so inspection time, nothing that was worth returning it over. Since I am going to be on the road off and on for the next month it would have been June for a different delivery date. Now I either have to assemble it or clear a spot in the garage for it. The delivery guy put it on my cart, so moving it around won't be a problem until I put it together. I've got a guy that will come and get my old grill and recycle it, I hate that it is almost as expensive to repair as to replace and I use mine a lot.

I am not a morning person.

I just used the hot stuff on the weeds along my fences, you could see the color change, it may work even faster that the cold mix. And it is a ton cheaper than roundup and much more enviromentally friendly.

Pitcher plant, they grow in bogs and poor soil, they have liquid in them and doward pointing spikes on the inside, the lid ensures that the bug has to land to get to the nectar in the plant, the spikes keep it from escaping, the bug falls in and is digested by the plant.

@graceylou That's one reason that we have fought so hard against breed specific legislation, too many breeds are misidentified and are so similar to others that if you try to write it with out using a breed name,but go by discription, you thow out huge classes of animals rather than make it owner legislation so that the one responsible is the one that is being punished.

@WonderWartHog99 You obviously never paid attention in red neck country, The furniture in one of those is crap, so when someone sells it , the buyer usually guts the furniture since it is going to be replaced anyhow. That is a "mobile home", not a travel trailer, no one would tow that to camp in.

@Redheadedgammy There are 3 of the lightblue one's in the box, they are bare root, so keep them wet until you get them in the ground, then make sure that they stay wet in the ground for at least the first two weeks, longer if you can. Once they've added about a foot of new grow, you should be out of the woods.

@RickyAdams Yes, I'm getting ready to send one to a friend in the Houston area. They do Very well in the North Texas area. The light blue will survive with minimal die back, the purple (above) will die back to the ground after the first killing freeze, then return in late spring. Normally April or May. It's best to have a mix of a couple of plants.
